My career to date has spanned many aspects of business, media and non-profits. I have been part of the creation of over 500 hours of TV / digital content and raised millions of dollars in production financing to create award-winning documentaries that made a difference in Canada and around the world. I have a life-long passion to make the world a better home for all its inhabitants.
I have been involved with numerous festivals, non-profits and events including six years with the Vancouver International film festival, the Whistler Film Festival, Moving Pictures: Canadian Films On Tour and the Compassionate Eye Foundation.
My roles include Programmer, Producer, Showrunner, Story Producer, Writer and Development Consultant as well as five years as a Production Executive for CanWest Global Broadcasting (now Corus Entertainment). I won a Gemini in 2007 for Best Documentary Series Global Currents.
Long active in the arts community, I was the Creative Director of the Vancouver International Film Festival’s Film and TV Forum for the 2009 season, a Canadian Images programmer for the VIFF, Festival Director for Moving Pictures; Canadian Films on Tour and a publicist for the NFB/ONF.
I have served on the board of directors for the Whistler Film Festival Society, represented Executives on the board of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television and continue to advise to The Forum. I was a programming consultant for international films at the VIFF for over a decade.
I am very proud to have been on the Board of Directors for the Compassionate Eye Foundation from 2014 to 2016.
A perpetual entrepreneur, I am always seeking new creative and business challenges around the world.
